“Spaesati”: when urban and social regeneration takes shape through making
The first phase of Spaesati has begun: with our natural cork insulating materials, a community workshop for the urban development of the village of Aggius is taking shape.
We’re delighted to have actively contributed to the creation of a carpentry shop and community workshop as part of an urban regeneration project in Aggius, promoted by the Cocò Sardinia association.
After being contacted by the association, we chose to support the initiative by donating the materials needed for the roofing and insulation of this emerging community space. It’s a gesture of support for our territory and for the people who live here—people who will build new forms of community within this place.
It will be a space for meeting, work, and sharing, where social and craft workshops will come to life—designed to foster togetherness, collaboration, and dialogue.
“A stable place, born of contributions and open to the cross-pollination of those who inhabit it, where young people can experience social, educational, and training activities. This context aims to be a hub of active democracy and participation, involving people from neighbouring towns so they can meet and build networks.”

Knowing that all this is beginning in part thanks to the cork we provided is a source of great satisfaction for us.
