Our Support for Le Donne del Vino

On October 24th, 2025, we had the pleasure of supporting the Associazione Nazionale Le Donne del Vino during one of their educational initiatives in Sardinia.
Among the topics discussed were the protection of cork oak forests, recycling, and the promotion of native grape varieties.
Our contribution to the wine world goes beyond the production of cork stoppers and capsules. We have always worked to protect the natural and historical heritage of Sardinia’s cork forests—an effort that aligns closely with the association’s values.
Founded in 1988, Le Donne del Vino is now the largest female wine association in the world. Through its initiatives, it supports women’s roles across the entire wine industry and promotes activities centered on sustainability, as well as the preservation of rare native grape varieties and historic vineyards.
Their commitment is also reflected in the collection and recycling of cork stoppers—repurposed into design objects—and in fundraising efforts that support anti-violence centers throughout Italy.
This year, the association dedicated a training journey to our region, welcoming members from across the country. The program focused on celebrating the connection between viticulture, identity, and tradition.
Sardinia plays a key role in Italy’s winemaking landscape, and preserving it requires constant care and dedication.
Telling the story of our land—its history and its values—is a shared responsibility.
For this reason, we would like to thank Le Donne del Vino for their daily commitment and for involving us in this meaningful journey.
